Rubik's Cube Master

Garnock Academy's sixth year student Breandan McElhill (left with The Headteacher MrMcNaught) has a remarkable skill.

The ability to solve the Rubik's Cube Puzzle in under 10 seconds.

He gained second place in recent uk championships held in Birmingham with an average time of 14.62secs.

Breandan says he has solved the puzzle in 8.06 seconds when practicing at home.

The winner of the World Championships in October in Budapest won $7000 with a time of 9.86secs.

Time to search the attic for those old cubes.
